About 1000 protest the U.S. unilateral recognition of Jerusalem
December 16, 2017, as the Capital of Israel. While the protest starts Marine One flies overhead. It was peaceful but both Orthodox Jews and Palestinians stood in opposition to it. In the Middle East there were violent protests and at least one killed this week in the wake of the U.S. action.
