On June 12, 2012 while Shimon Peres, the president of Israel, visited Washington DC to receive form President Obama a medal of "Freedom", Rabbi Dovid Feldman of Neturei Karta International was speaking at a demonstration in front of the White House to protest Israel and its spokespeople, stating that "they are an embarrassment to the Jewish people".
