"An illegitimate state breeds illegitimate actions," proclaimed Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss of Neturei Karta International. He referred to the recent beatings and imprisonment without bail of 5 Jews during a recent peaceful street protest in Beit Shemesh, a concentrated religious Jewish community in the Holy Land. He also referred to the recent unjust indictment of Rabbi Turchin, in Jerusalem.
"These Jews had done nothing more than peacefully protest the polices unconscionable removal of a sign on private property, calling upon their co religionists to observe traditional standards of morality, while visiting their community. "Nothing illegal was done," noted Weiss. "It was a fairly typical hysterical and violent reaction of the Zionist state, which has consistently demonstrated a depraved indifference to the well being of Jews and Gentiles, throughout its fifty nine year existence."
The Rabbi added that "Rabbi Turchin was likewise, unjustly indicted, do to "secret and closed" testimony. His "high crime" and only crime, was the printing and disseminating of posters that are anti Zionist."
The Rabbi hastened to add that, "The only solution to the religious persecution towards Jews and cruelty towards the Palestinians, will be the peaceful dismantling of the state itself. It is forbidden for Jews to have a state according to Torah law and we can only expect this sort of barbarous behavior during its existence."
Neturei Karta is an organization that educates the public in the elementary Torah [Jewish law] belief, that Zionism is antithetical to the core concepts of Judaism.
The group will demonstrate calling upon the international community, to demand that the Israeli government release these religious prisoners.
